"Trinosophile" is the second of three tracks on The Cyclone Trio's newest album, ‘The Clear Revolution.' The piece attends to the group's philosophical exploration of geometric symbology, and offers its own interpretations of meaning through angular composition and curiosity-driven arrangment. This is a 10-minute, in-the-moment-composition and a compelling invitation to the Cyclone Trio’s more subtle sounds. Throughout, Irving and Green dialogue towards a gradual crescendo of drums, staggering blurred cymbal effects and steady percussion with a spacious central interlude, alongside Magee’s careening horn set. “Trinosophile” perhaps best demonstrates how the trio's unique musical inclinations enhance their collective sound, building a poetic, curious, threefold track.
